Back with a New look

We’re back! The new template is up, and the design should be working correctly. I’m afraid I may have misplaced some of your comments, but I managed to import the bulk of them.

Rant @ Evesham technology: Home of the CrapTop

So I wanted to treat my fiancee to a new laptop for an early christmas present, I shopped around but was then wowed by an offer on Evesham Technology‘s eBay shop. A great spec, far superior to anything else I could get for that price. So me being me, I bought it.

Next day, it arrived. Nice quick delivery. I had a play, when I first got it it had a blue screen, but then seemed fine. Then I tried to play a game… o dear. The system went boiling hot until locking up, every time, whatever game.

It had to go back, it had a 7 day returns policy, it was however Friday night, and no-one was in office until Monday. So i kept my laptop for the weekend, and mailed them just in time for Monday morning. Then the fun really began…

Defining Success as a Designer

A few days ago Jonathan Wold, a new friend of mine, tagged me to write about my success as a designer. Well, I’ve dragged myself away from my client work to write about it, even though in my eyes I’m not greatly successful, yet.

O, and as an added bonus you get to see old pictures of me and download some games I made years ago! lol

…new host…fresh start

Well, I must say this was a really, really long exciting week.

If your a returning visitor you may notice something with Blue anvil… yes it has been hacked apart and wordpressified.

After giving up with 1&1 web hosting (not value for money at all) ive switched hosts and redesigned Blue Anvil at last.

What have I done?

Well the main difference is the lack of cutenews and the introduction of wordpress, which I taught myself last week.
