OnlineBingoClub
OnlineBingoClub is a site that contains a blog and other information about online bingo. It's primary objective is to get users to signup to their newsletter. I was hired to redesign the site and integrate it with wordpress.
The main requirement was to give focus to the newsletter signup, and ensure the bingo site landing pages were attention grabbing and useful. To do this I made the site very colourful and individually themed each landing page to match the bingo site's colour scheme. To achieve the background effects I used transparent pngs.
The client was very happy with the redesign and stated that I had done an "outstanding job in design, implementation, and ongoing support
".
TheBingoFinder
TheBingoFinder is a website offering online bingo reviews, features, and promotions. Originally they wanted a separate blog, but after explaining the benefits of wordpress as a cms we decided to use wordpress for the entire site. The site is now fully integrated into wordpress ensuring content is easy to update and maintain in the future.
Another way I made content management easier was by creating several 'widgets' for the sidebar, for example, a 'top sites' widget and a 'pick of the month' widget. This enabled the client to update the sidebar content without having to edit the template directly.
BestBingoOffers
BestBingoOffers is a blog dedicated to offers and promotions of the UK online bingo sites. I was hired to redesign the newly created site and develop a wordpress theme that was flexible and easy to use.
One of the key features of this theme was the featured content scroller near the top; this was integrated with wordpress to give the client full control of it's content.
Titan Poker Bonus Code
Titan Poker Bonus Code is a site dedicated to providing bonuses for online poker sites, as well as offering poker news and tips.
I redesigned the website by creating a new logo, installing wordpress, and creating a custom template. I also implemented some other custom features such as a redirection script for linking to partner sites, and a dynamic tournament list complete with jQuery sorting.
Before I got involved they managed content using static web pages; by switching to Wordpress their content is now much easier to manage and update.
BingoBlogs
BingoBlogs is a website for bingo news, reviews, tips, and offers in the UK. They required a fresh look for their wordpress powered site so I designed and developed the new template, as well as improving the post structure to make the site easier to update.
One major requirement for the blog was good SEO so I took extra precautions to make the blog search engine friendly by tweaking the markup and installing several relevant SEO plugins.

FreeBingoBonus
Like BingoBlogs.co.uk, FreeBingoBonus is a bingo news blog that required a new look powered by wordpress.
This theme was based upon the BingoBlogs theme but customised to give the site a different look. I implemented several wordpress 'shortcodes' so the homepage content could be managed within a wordpress page, rather than directly in a template (as suggested by the client) or with individual posts.
Beefjack.com
Beefjack, a gaming blog, required a wordpress template allowing them to post articles, reviews, and flash games, which would allow them to move from their static site to wordpress; the wordpress template I created allowed them to do all of this, as well as making the website easier to manage.
I also implemented a different colour scheme for each section of the blog, and a solution to post game reviews along with a rating out of 10.
ThemeSlice.com
