Hey there thanks a lot for the plugin , i am using wordpress 2.5 plugin was working fine after i upgraded it , it is not working , i even deleted the plugin file and reuploaded the previous version again but still it doesnt seem to work
! what could have caused the problem can you help me please?

Thanks for this brilliant plug-in. Will you be updating it soon for Wordpress 2.6 though? The drop-down menu in the non-rich text Wordpress editor for adding links does not not appear any more after I have upgraded all my blogs to 2.6.

andrea - You’ll have to edit the plugin manually. Search for [download_cat in the plugin and you will see the output code.

Artur - Check your DB (using phpmyadmin) to see if DOWNLOADS has been created, if not your going to need to use the table structure (in the plugin file) and create it manually.

after installation all i get is “Error saving to database” every time I try to upload a file. Can you help?

Nice plugin, Feature I would like to see is paging on the following tags [#show_downloads], [#advanced_downloads], [download_cat#id] with the ability to decide how many links to show per page. In some categories I have 100’s of files and without paging the pages get very long and unusable. I’m really not a PHP guys or I would just customize the plugin myself.
