I love this plugin but I’ve got a few issues that I need to sort out that I can’t seem to resolve myself. Hope you can help Mike.

The message for a missed field in the form when “Submit” has been clicked has some overlapping pink boxes over the “Required Fields” message. I’d like to space it out so it’s not overlapping and you can actually read the text – see screen shot here:

The “Success” message boxes could use some room between them and the message but don’t know how to modify – see screen here:

    http://www.changingpaces.com/ImagesTemp/Form_Success_Results.jpg

The “Success” message shows spots for “Phone:” and “Website:” I chose not to request those on the form so why would they be showing up on the submit results page? Any idea? If I can’t choose to not have them there, I’d include them on the form but I’m not sure how to make them “optional” fields.

    I’m using:

    Form Version:* v.2.1WP – *Build Number:* B20100702

Thanks so much! If you could give me some direction on how to modify the styling page, I’d be happy to make a donation!

    Thanks Mike!

@Trish Robichaud: The phone and website field bits would need removing from the plugin itself. As for your overlapping issues, it looks like a few of your theme’s css rules are affecting them.

You will need to add some css rules to prevent this.

    Hi Mike,
I am looking for a simple and lightweight contact form and this pluggin seems to fit the bill.

My only issue is that my site is in French (as you probably guessed from my first name).

Any tips or hints for a translation ? I know I can access some of the labels/text from the configuration page, but I have not found out how to change the others.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Jean-Michel

@Jean-Michel: Either create a french translation – http://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2007/08/27/localizing-a-wordpress-plugin-using-poedit/, or you can edit the front-end form code directly in the plugin files.

    Hi

Is there a reason you’re not hosting it on the WordPress plugins site? To make updates a little easier? That’s literally the only reason I don’t use this plugin anymore.

    thanks
    James
