Thanks so much for the peek-a-boo bug fix. Saved me hours. Man, I hate IE's rendering issues... Took me a long while to work out it was due to the background image, and then only a minute to find your post! Thanks!

The peek-a-boo one spun me out, thanks for the solution!
Been through exactly the same thing with ie6, backwards compatibility seems the only solution for me now.

RE: Bug #8 - Box model soln. Good to know how to differentiate bet. IE5.5 & IE6 using *html hack - it's particularly useful for images. Example: # html img{f\loat:left;} eliminates the mysterious margins in both browsers - IE5.5 doesn't like the float:left, while it's needed for IE6 to remove margin. Many Thanks and Keep on Rockin'!!

thanks for this, you know how the saying goes...a problem shared...
agree with the above post, dont know why the hell the IE peek-a-boo bug is there, but had heard of the hack above and it does work ( at least some of the time!) why o why do we live with such inconsistency with CSS standards?? drives me mad the amount of time I waste fixing this stuff...

The peek-a-boo one is normally the worst, and hardest, to fix, since I see no logic in why, or how, it appears.

Best bet with that one is to get rid of as many div’s as possible, and really clean out the code.

Im redoing my Bling-On design and I am heading for a day(looking to be several) like yours. Right now I trying to fight my way out of a combination of icons that get cropped, drop shadows that get the wrong height and background images that disappear :(

The peek-a-boo one gives me the most grief as the usual fixes dont seem to work.
